Born from the encounter between the Slam Jam creative office and technical footwear designer Maurizio Quaglia, ROA is an Italian outdoor shoe brand defined by its fusing of essential minimalist hiking boot shapes with cutting edge manufacturing materials and traditional Italian manufacturing processes. Exacting material standards, from the use of Birtish-tanned kudu skin to Vibram soles to Aramadic fiber soles to natural calf leather linings, have made the brand a fan of product connoisseurs from across the globe, including Alyx’s Matthew Williams, whose collaborations “discovered” the brand.
